WE ARE FRIENDS OF PARKS AND RECREATION!
Friends of Parks and Recreation's mission is to support the Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation in Winchester, Kentucky through fundraising efforts in order to provide every citizen the opportunity for optimal recreation and leisure activities and to provide programs that enhance the health, wellness, and overall quality of life.
Our programs involve providing leisure activities as well as opportunities for health/physical activities for all citizens of all ages through organized sports, exercise classes, swimming, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and other activities. We also provide summer camp opportunities, community activities such as our Bicycle Rodeo, Halloween activities, and run/walk events to support other community partners.

Aquatics is big at WCCPR. Sailfish and swim teams practice, lap swimmers enjoy low-impact exercise, and group fitness abounds!

At WCCPR, family is the core of healthy communities. Holiday events like the Halloween Festival and Gingerbread House Party give families opportunities to unplug, engage and spend quality time together.
